… When I was a little kid I was a picky eater. I think I liked to eat about 10 things. I remember being told that it was not okay to continue to say ” I hate that, I don’t like it, I don’t want to eat it.” I used to say it over and over and over.
So one day I got really smart and instead of saying I hate that I said : “No, that’s OK !”
I remember how well that was received. It got me out of a lot of hot water, that sure got me out of trying icky foods that I knew I’d hate.
